More government spin - this time from Hutton

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/apr/15/economy.smes?gusrc=rss&feed=politics

John Hutton today announced measures to help small businesses .....

The job of government is simple and straightforward. We have to be on your side. No ifs. No buts ...

This from the government that put up the tax rate on small business from 19% to 22%. That is hardly helping small business.

You shall be judged not by what you say, but what you do.

I am glad I found this blog...connected from Mr Fawkes.

OT, but my sister in law, who has lived in Italy for twenty years and is a dyed in the wool communist, was on the phone to me last night close to tears about Silvo's election win. She announced that she is thinking of moving to the UK to be in a better political environment.

She could get a job reviewing tractor production figures...wait a minute, the UK doesn't make tractors anymore does it?
